If you have suffered a property loss, call your insurance agent right away. They will put you in contact with an insurance adjuster who will assess the damage and explain your homeowner's coverage, policy limits, reimbursements, etc. Different companies have different limits and terms of coverage, so you will want to understand completely what your policy can offer you.
