How It Works

As we take the necessary steps from start to finish, we have one goal in mind - to make the temporary housing process as easy as possible for you and your policyholder.

  • Call 800.968.0848. Once you call in a housing request, we contact your policyholder within 30 minutes to introduce ourselves and confirm all temporary housing requirements.

  • We search. Locating a comparable property that matches your insurance company guidelines, based on location, cost, lease terms, and your policyholder's needs.

  • We update. Keeping you well informed on the status of our search.

  • We Submit a Quote. Once we have located a suitable property, we send you, the insurance company, a quote for the property.

  • You Approve. To ensure that the lease terms are within policy limits, we will not commit to the property until we have your approval.

  • Move-in. With everything approved by the policyholder, CRS will begin moving them into their fully furnished housing.

  • Payment. We pay all up-front costs during the temporary stay and will invoice you.

  • Support. We keep in close contact with the policyholder, ensuring that everything runs smoothly throughout their stay.

  • Move-out. When it's time for the policyholder to move back into their permanent residence, CRS goes into action to handle every detail including pick-up of all furniture and housewares and the retrieval of the security deposit.
